If boring has a name,,, epic boredem!!!

I was so expecting much when I paid for my ticket to see this film, however this was the first time I actually considered leaving the theatre in the middle of a film because it was so bad.
You see Epic Movie decides to spoof such movies as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lione, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Snakes on a Plane, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest, Superman Returns, X-Men: The Last Stand, Borat, Nacho Libre and oh way too much more as well. I can accept movies taking the mickey out of other movies, admittedly I quite like the Scary Movie franchise, sure Scary Movie 4 was a bit of a letdown, but that movie at least has some inventive ideas around it. This movie didn't have one half decent or remotely funny idea at all.
The main issue about this film is originality. This movie is merely a re-shoot of all the films it parodies with different actors. There is no originality in the script, the writers seemed to just bundle a whole heap of scripts of the movies they were parodying together and added childish slapstick bits here and there along with repetitive MTV references that never varied. This made the film boring.
The main parody of the film is The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Those who have seen the film want to see a clever parody not to see every scene in the film re-enacted by terrible actors. If the movie had been any longer than 90 minutes I swear I could have shot myself.
The film also recycles old jokes used in other terrible Friedman and Seltzerparodies. For example, Peter, Edward, Susan and Lucy are meant to be siblings and have the same parents yet are portrayed as a mix of black and white actors. This joke was used in the abysmal Date Movie, as the biological family consisted of a black father, Indian mother, and white and Chinese daughters. This joke was not funny in either of the films.

Not Only does the film recycle old jokes from previous parodies but also recycles jokes within the movie, Jayma Mays kicking the beaver wasn't funny the first time, so why do it again.

Thieves raid Guuci Store in Sydney

I know I have terrible road rage and have joked about running into things on purpose, but never have I been in an accident on purpose. But apparently, a couple of crazy thieves in Sydney like crashing vehicles into store windows. Early Monday morning in Australia, some fools crashed a stolen car into the store window of the Gucci Boutique on Castlereagh Street. They stole thousands of dollars worth of Gucci goodies and then skedaddled sans the car. This is completely amusing to me. Just imagining someone running through a store window makes me smile a bit. It's almost like something out of the movies. Another thing that is fairly amusing in a terrible kind of way is there have been multiple robberies of couture boutiques on this street. Recently the Louis Vuitton and the David Jones shops where robbed by people wielding sledgehammers. I think these stores need to take a page from the stores in Detroit and get bullet proof glass. That may not stop cars from running through them, but it will keep people from breaking the windows with sledgehammers. I can see it now; Australia's Stupidest Criminals: a couple of fool robbers take a sledge hammer to some store window and instead of breaking the window the hammer comes flying back at them. I may in fact have a sick sense of humor. I love idiot criminals!

The raid came just days after two men used a sledgehammer to smash their way into the nearby David Jones city store, on the corner of Castlereagh and Market streets, and raided display cases for luxury watches. It also follows a recent raid by five men wielding sledgehammers on the Louis Vuitton boutique, less than 100 metres from Gucci, in which handbags and jewellery were stolen.

The exclusive strip also houses Chanel, Bvlgari, and Tiffany & Co.

    Court crashes Paris's endless party

Again and agian for "Paris Whitney Hilton".

A favorite target for tabloid gossip  and the paparazzi,  Hilton appeared in the reality television series  "The Simple Life," and in 2003 an unauthorized sex video  with her former boyfriend appeared on the Internet.

The endless party that is Paris Hilton's lifestyle was gatecrashed by the long arm of the law on Friday as the socialite was sentenced to 45 days in prison for a parole violation.

The millionaire heiress to the Hilton hotel empire looked close to tears  as she wailed "I'm sorry, I'm sorry"   just moments before receiving her sentence at downtown Los Angeles' Metropolitan Court.

Hilton must start her sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility on June 5 or else serve a 90-days jail term.

Paris' parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, both looked visibly upset  as the sentence was handed down to their daughter, one of the world's most photographed and famous women.

After the hearing, an outraged Kathy Hilton shouted at prosecutors: "You're pathetic!"  before asking sarcastically: "Can I have your autograph?"

Los Angeles city attorney Rocky Delgadillo said in a statement "the ruling sends a clear message that in the City of Los Angeles no one is above the law."

Hilton's parole violation conviction came after she was caught driving on a suspended license in February following her no contest plea to drink-driving.

Prosecutors had warned on Thursday they would seek a jail sentence for the blonde style icon but it did not deter Hilton from testing the patience of the court by turning up for her hearing at least 15 minutes late.

Soberly dressed in a dark suit with a white blouse, with her blonde hair swept back in a pony tail, Hilton did not comment as she arrived, running a gauntlet of at least 60 paparazzi and reporters.

Builders on a construction site opposite the court-house shouted  "Jail time!" to dozens of television crews and photographers who ringed the building in downtown Los Angeles.

Satellite television trucks crowded side streets and local news crews hovered overhead in helicopters, completing a surreal scene at the court, which normally deals with minor traffic violations.

Prosecutors told the court Hilton had been stopped on January 15 by California Highway Patrol and told that she was not allowed to be driving.

On that occasion, Hilton signed a police statement acknowledging that she was not supposed to drive, and she was let off with an informal warning.

But just over a month later she was hauled over again in Hollywood when spotted driving her  $190,000 Bentley Continental GTC at night with her headlights off.

Hilton's spokesman said his client was unaware she was violating her parole — but prosecutors dismissed that line of argument, citing the earlier brush with traffic police in January.

Hilton had lost her licence for alcohol-related reckless driving and was given 36 months probation.

Posh buys villa in Beverley Hills

The Beckhams have finally bought a house in LA. Victoria and David Beckham are a step closer to living in the US after they finally managed to buy a house.

The couple have repeatedly been making trips to the states as they searched for a house following the announcement that David would be signing for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

Victoria did most of the leg work in trying to secure a property and she is said to have visited at least 30 houses before settling on one.

The £11m property is in Beverley Hills and the Beckhams will now be neighbours with their pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The house itself is set on a 13,000-square-foot plot and comes complete with nine bathrooms.

It also has a large swimming pool, a fountain and offers fantastic views of the sea.

The house can only be entered through a huge iron gate and, despite costing a huge amount of money, it is a lot cheaper than it could have been as the dollar is so weak at the moment.
